A documentary filmmaker has discovered previously unseen footage of Concorde being tested before her first flight over the West Country.

Andy Warren has used it in a film called Wings Over Filton.

The never-before-seen footage of concorde testing:

The discovery comes as work continues to open an aerospace museum on a site where Concorde was built - Aerospace Bristol Museum is taking shape in Filton.

Bristol has a rich heritage in aircraft design and building:

But the star of the show was the supersonic Concorde.

About six months after the testing footage was taken the concorde took off -that was in April 1969.

The fact that Concorde 216 is being preserved here in the West Country shows the palpable love for the Speedbird.
