The 34-year-old former Hayesfield School pupil, who trained at the University of Bath made the announcement on Twitter.

Amy Williams grabbed the nation's heart when she won gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics in the women's skeleton. It made her the first British individual gold medallist at a Winter Olympics for 30 years.

Since then Amy Williams has made her name as a television presenter. She married her husband, Craig Ham, in 2015. The couple tied the knot at St Nicholas's Church in Bathampton, the village where she was raised.
