West Country MPs react to Westminster terror attack

MPs from across the region have been reacting to the terrible events that unfolded in Westminster.

Bristol City Council is among other councils who are showing respect by flying all flags at half mast.

Simon Hoare summed up the tributes to Pc Keith Palmer, who was stabbed outside the Houses of Parliament, by tweeting "Yesterday we lost a village Bobby. Anyone who knows small communities will understand the loss."
