Justice for Judah launches petition to suspend 2 police officers
Justice for Judah is the Bristol-based campaign against police violence which formed after Avon and Somerset Constabulary tasered a 63-year-old while he was walking his dog in Easton earlier this year.
Justice for Judah has launched a petition calling for the two police officers involved in the incident to be suspended without pay until the outcome of the Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation.
Both officers have been served with notices of gross misconduct and continue to work on the streets of Bristol. The results of the investigation are likely to be released in six to nine months.
The campaign is hoping to gain 100 signatures, you can see how they are getting on here:
The IPCC has conducted house to house enquiries, taken statements from witnesses, and collected guidelines over the use of a taser.
