Storm Doris hits the South West

Storm Doris hit the West Country this morning. Strong winds swept across Devon and Cornwall. There were many reports of fallen trees.

Three fire crews were sent to Torpoint, where a fallen tree had trapped a man in a passing van.

He's been take to hospital, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.

The storm should be leaving Devon and Cornwall in its wake towards the end of this morning as it heads towards Somerset and Bristol.
