Residents evacuated after fire breaks out in sauna

Residents living near a leisure centre in Exeter have been evacuated after a fire broke out in a sauna.

Ten fire engines were called to the Riverside Leisure Centre as they tried to bring the blaze under control.

One person has been treated for smoke inhalation and another for minor burns. No one is thought to be inside the leisure centre as crews make the area safe.

Meanwhile outside the building, this evening's rush hour has been badly affected with major congestion across the city.
