Man dies after car hit by train on level crossing
A man has died after a train ploughed into his car on a level crossing in Gloucestershire, British Transport Police have said.
The incident happened near Frampton Mansell at about 3.10pm.
The Great Western Railway train was travelling from London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa when it hit the vehicle which the man is believed to have been driving.
Police said no-one else was injured in the crash.
Officers from British Transport Police say they attended the scene alongside paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and officers are now working to identify him and inform his family.
Great Western Railway said it appeared no passengers aboard the train had been injured.

A police cordon has now been put up around the scene and passengers from the train have been taken to a local pub.
