Meet the WWII veteran still hitting the gym - aged 98
A World War Two veteran says he's fitter than many people half his age thanks to a daily 90-minute workout - at the age of 98
John Hamilton from Wiltshire says being a gym member has not only given his life purpose but has also left him with a fitness level most pensioners could only dream of.
John works out at this gym in Warminster five days a week.
The widower lives on his own and says he found life a bit depressing - now the gym has become a haven.
John is so fit for his age he only sees his doctor twice a year for a check-up, and has escaped many health complaints suffered by the elderly.
John says he's always been fit and active since his army days.
But this 98 year old's morning routine would leave many people gasping
JOHN'S WORKOUT
The gym's owner says she's blown away by his determination.
So, does John feel his age?
John does have some vices of course - he's smoked a pipe since the age of 18 and drinks a glass of wine every day.
Although, that doesn't seem to have affected his fitness - his goal now is to still be working out at the age of 100.
