A thatched pub near Taunton has suffered devastating damage after a fire in the building raged for nearly twelve hours.

Sixteen crews from across Somerset were called to tackle the blaze at the Farmers Arms overnight.

It's not yet clear what caused the fire. An investigation is underway but locals suspect cause may have been a spark from chimney

The owners of the 15th century pub say they hope to start serving drinks from part of pub in a month.
