Bristol Airport gears up for Christmas getaway

Over 260,000 passengers are expected to be travelling through Bristol Airport during the Christmas period.

Skiing destinations remain a popular choice for passengers during the winter season, as well as winter sun destinations including Malta and Rome continue to be popular.

Travel association Abta said Friday (23 December) is expected to be the busiest day.

Bristol Airport will also remain open on Christmas Day for a limited number of flights.

During the busy Christmas holiday period passengers are advised to allow extra journey time to the Airport and to arrive at check-in at least a minimum of 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
