Brunel invites visitors to Victorian Christmas on the SS Great Britain

The SS Great Britain in Bristol is hosting a Victorian Christmas celebration this weekend.

Visitors will be able to mingle with 19th Century characters and experience some Victorian culture and entertainment.

Isambard Kingdom Brunel himself will welcome guests aboard his famous ship for the celebration.

The so-called 'Ragged Victorians' will be sharing their stories with visitors on the dockside with choirs singing Christmas songs around them.

Among them will be Charles Dickens and Brunel himself.
