Gloucestershire woman wins 'Over and Above' Lollipopper of the Year

Bettie Ealand from Gloucestershire has been awarded an accolade at the first ever Lollipopper of the Year ceremony.

Bettie, who works for the Tewkesbury Church of England Primary School, won the 'Over and Above' award.

A prize that recognises a dedicated Lollipopper that goes beyond the call of duty to help children, parents, their school and the local community.

Each of the four category winners received a Churchill Lollipopper Awards trophy to mark their achievement as well as a £500 holiday voucher to treat themselves to a well-earned break during the upcoming school holidays.

Bettie Ealand, from Tewkesbury CE Primary School, has worked as a Lollipopper for forty-two years. She's thrilled with the title.

The National Lollipopper Awards are part of Churchill Insurance's drive to improve safety on the school crossing by deploying more of the iconic crossing wardens.
