11 tons of aid bound for Syria from Cornwall

Nearly 11 tons of aid is leaving Cornwall today to helpSyrian refugees.

A mixture of food, clothes and baby items has been collected by the charity, Open Hearts Open Borders based in Plymouth.

The produce has all been donated by people in the South West. They've now been loaded on to a container at Saltash and will be taken to refugee camps on the Syrian border.

This is the fourth container load of aid since the appeal was launchedlast February.
