For one family in Cornwall, the festive period is particularly busy.

In the run up to Christmas, the Cholwill's build hundreds of wooden reindeer on their farm near Bude, to raise money for the hospice which cared for their son, Mark.

Paul Cholwill, who runs the farm, explained that this was the first year they had advertised them online: "From the first twenty four hours of the Facebook page going live we had orders for over two hundred so we decided to stop taking orders because we all ready had some Christmas fairs to do."

This year, such is the demand that Paul has roped in his children to help paint the red noses and decorate the reindeers.

All proceeds go to the Little Harbour Children's Hospice in St.Austell, and the family are hoping to raise £12,000.
