Falmouth University programme awarded £12M to help tech entrepeneurs

The Government has confirmed it will fund a business programme at Falmouth University even after Britain leaves the EU.

The European Regional Development Fund is awarding the university £12 million to develop its postgraduate business programme.

The programme will help Cornish tech entrepreneurs to launch their own tech start-ups.

The university says the money will help create 500 new jobs in Cornwall.

The first cohort of 20 students will be recruited by May next year.
