Refugee children re-homed after month in Devon
A group of refugee children from the Jungle Camp in Calais have all been re-housed after spending a month in North Devon.
The children arrived at Beam House Adventure Centre near Torrington after their makeshift homes in Calais were bulldozed by French authorities.
Workers at the Centre said they were surprised by the support the refugees received from the local community with books, blankets, clothes and even guitars donated for them. to begin their new lives.
