Flooding causes problems on rail and roads
DEVON
In Devon, the A30 westbound is blocked just west of Honiton by floodwater. Here's another view of that extensive queue.
Staying in Devon and there's one lane blocked on A379 Bridge Road in Exeter. That's due to surface water near Countess Wear Roundabout. There have been drainage issues over the weekend.
And B3226 North Road in South Molton is blocked due to flooding.
The village of Lee in North Devon is still dealing with flash flooding rushing through on the way to the sea. This video was taken by our correspondent, Seth Conway this morning.
The A361 at Tiverton is closed eastbound due to flooding between Bolham roundabout and Gornhay Cross.
CORNWALL
Further south on the A30 there is flooding in both directions at Marazanvoze in Cornwall - that's nine miles south of Newquay. Motorists are being warned to approach with care.
DORSET
In Dorset, the B3144 Damer's Road in Dorchester is closed in both directions due to flooding under the railway bridge.
ON THE TRAINS AND PLANES
On the trains there are replacement buses running between Liskeard and Looe because of flooding on the line. It is expected to stay closed for the rest of the day.
The Great Western Railway service between Bristol Parkway and Swindon has been suspended due to flooding. Trains will be diverted via Bath Spa or cancelled.
Skybus flights from Newquay and Land's End airports to the Isles of Scilly are grounded because of the weather.
These are just a selection of the problems across our region. It seems surface water is affecting travel everywhere so do take extra care and don't drive through standing water.
