Three men 'at risk to public' abscond from prison

Three prisoners serving sentences for crimes including rape, grievous bodily harm and robbery have absconded from a South Gloucestershire jail.

Admi Headley, Wayne Maycock and Paul Bromwich were last seen at HMP Leyhill, an Category D prison, at around 4.45pm on Sunday.

  • Also goes by the name of Smith,

  • 6ft tall,

  • Medium build

  • Blue eyes.

  • Wears glasses

  • Scar on the left side of his face

  • Tattoos on both arms

They are considered to be a risk to the public, Avon and Somerset Constabulary said, appealing for help tracing the men.

They have links to the Manchester area, said the force, which has alerted Greater Manchester Police.
