60ft Christmas garland takes shape in stately home

With Christmas fast approaching an iconic symbol of the National Trust's festive season is getting a final few finishing touches.

The Cotehele Garland is the centre piece of the National Trust property's Christmas decorations, and, stem by stem it's taking shape at the house in south east Cornwall.

Gardeners have gone with a white theme this year to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the garland being mounted in the Grand Hall.
