Robbie Williams: 'I'd love to headline Glastonbury'
Robbie Williams has announced a 2017 European stadium tour and admitted he would love to include a Glastonbury headlining slot to the schedule.
The chart-topping singer will play 29 shows in 18 countries and hopes to add a stop at Worthy Farm.
Williams, who performed at one of the wettest festivals in Glastonbury history in 1998, said at a press conference today:
The former Take That star will kick off his tour at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on June 2 with synth duo Erasure joining him on tour as special guests.
Williams' tour will support his new album - Heavy Entertainment Show - and the singer said he was still working on producing the "wows" for the concerts, including getting his collaborators to come and perform with him.
