How the West's Pride of Britain winner got Cold Feet at the awards

The stars of Cold Feet were full of praise for Ben Smith, the Pride of Britain fundraiser of the year, after the awards ceremony.

Ben ran 401 marathons in 401 days, raising more than £300,000 for anti-bullying charities, including Kidscape and Stonewall.

Fay Ripley, who plays Jenny Gifford in the ITV drama, along with her on screen husband John Thomson, were among the first to congratulate him.
