Homes sought for Dartmoor ponies saved from slaughter
A number of young foals are looking for new homes following the annual Dartmoor pony drift.
The event - where hundreds of ponies are rounded up for auction - often sees many sent to the slaughterhouse due to laws on grazing rights and a decline in the market.
But, 17 foals have been saved from this sad fate after Devon charity South West Equine Protection stepped in to rescue them.
Becky Treeby is now looking after the 17 foals until she finds new homes for them.
Some are only four-weeks-old and have been separated from their mothers.
And it's a 24/7 job - these two are only one month old.
The charity is keen to hear from anyone who is interested in donating or helping with the new arrivals.
