Athlete Jo Pavey gifts piece of Olympic track to old school

A Devon school now has a piece of sporting history thanks to five- time Olympian and 2014 European ten thousand metre champion and former pupil Jo Pavey.

The long distance runner visited The King's School in Ottery St Mary to present a commemorative piece of the track that she and many other Olympic legends raced on four years ago in London 2012.

The track has been replaced ahead of the London 2017 World Championships and Jo who still lives and trains in the area was given the job of presenting a piece to her old school where her sporting career got underway.
