School in a Bag charity aims for internet fame
If you haven't heard of the Pen Pineapple Apple Pen video, you're about to!
Millions of people worldwide have seen the 50 second music video, which has even got the attention of pop star Justin Bieber. Well now it's come to the attention of the CEO of a Somerset charity who's come up with a parody version.
Watch Pen Pineapple Apple Pen
It certainly is rather compelling. Luke Simon saw the video and thought it would be a brilliant - if unorthodox - way to spread the word about his charity School in a Bag.
Luke's brother Piers was killed in the Boxing Day tsunami in Thailand in 2004 and the Piers Simon Appealwas set up in his memory. It supports disaster victims and as part if its work, runs School in a Bag. This helps poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster-affected children across the world by donating schoolbags filled with stationery, learning resources and eating utensils.
Judge for yourself if Luke's attempt at the internet sensation is worthy of the original. We think it's so bad it's addictive
