A photographer from North Devon has recreated Nirvana's iconic album cover with the same model - 25 years on.

John Chapple from Barnstaple got in touch with 'Nirvana baby' Spencer Eldon, who agreed to remake the infamous cover.

The image of a baby swimming underwater became synonymous with the 90s after Nirvana's Nevermind album went onto sell millions around the world.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the album, John returned to the same swimming pool, but he says the shoot was quite a challenge.

Spencer Eldon says its been strange growing up as the star of one of the most famous album artworks of the century. While he can't remember doing anything at the time, he does admit that it's become an important part of his life.
