A huge fire which broke out at the start of the month and could be seen from across Cornwall is not being treated as suspicious.

At their height, the flames and smoke from a tyre recycling centre in St Erth could be seen for miles - causing major delays on the region's roads and rail network.

Hundreds of fire fighters were mobilised, and the blaze was eventually brought under control after a lengthy operation.

An investigation into its cause has concluded that the cause of the large-scale fire was "electrical".

The loss was still keenly felt by the owners of the recycling firm, who lost their livelihood, many sentimental belongings, and even their daughters pet turtle.
