In pictures: GCSE results day across the West Country
Tens of thousands of students across the West Country have received their GCSE results today amid the ongoing reform of the country's examination system.
Nationally grades have fallen with a decline in both the overall pass rate and those achieving the top grades.
However several schools here in the West Country who were previously struggling have recorded an improvement in results.
