Man jailed for attempted child abduction

A man has been jailed for the attempted abduction of a child in Bristol.

Amin Hussein, 35, was found guilty at Bristol Crown Court after he attempted to abduct a 10-year-old girl from a supermarket in the Eastgate shopping centre on 22 February.

Hussein approached the girl and started to talk to her before asking her to leave the store with him. He then grabbed her clothes before she screamed and alerted her mother and sister.

Hussein, from Easton, will spend two and a half years behind bars.
