Beautiful Days festival set to be battered by strong winds and heavy rain
Organisers of a music festival in Devon this weekend have issued a warning to ticket holders to be prepared for severe weather.
Along with the rest of the region, the Beautiful Days Festival near Exeter is set to be battered by strong winds and heavy rain.
But it hasn't stopped the three day event from being a sell-out.
The festival at Escot in Ottery St Mary, kicks off tonight when Leftfield will be topping the bill. James, the Proclaimers, Reef and Dreadzone also feature in the line up.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Saturday, saying: "A spell of unseasonably strong southwesterly winds, accompanied by heavy, blustery showers, is expected to develop across the south of the UK later on Friday but peaking during Saturday daytime.
"Additionally the strongest winds will lead to large waves round exposed coastlines. Gusts of up to 45 mph inland, and 45 to 55 mph along exposed coastlines, are expected."
