Here's one sport you won't find in the Olympics - jousting.

And Britain's first female competitor has been battling it out at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth.

Nicky Willis decided to don the armour herself after a decade spent training men in the medieval art.

Nicky is taking part in a series of jousts at Pendennis Castle in Falmouth. It's the first time that English Heritage, which maintains the castle, has invited women to joust against men.

Nicky rides under the colourful name of Lady Nicolette of St. Wreatham, and her and her fellow jousters try to make it as realistic as possible.

But they take every safety precaution.

Despite the precautions, Nicky has had her fair share of injuries.

It hasn't put Nicky off.

It's all in a day's work for this brave knight.
