Hug for the hero doctor who saved a man impaled on a fence

A man who survived being impaled on a fence after falling from a ladder has met emergency crews to thank them for helping to save his life.

David Buckle from Tewkesbury suffered injuries to his liver, spine and kidneys when he fell on spikes.

Mr Buckle spent more than two weeks in an induced coma after being taken to hospital by air ambulance. He says he wouldn't have survived without the dedication of medical teams.
