Thousands raised for crash victim with 'life threatening injuries'

A public fund-raising campaign has been launched to help the parents of Cheltenham Bournside School pupil Sophie Herbert, the 15-year-old girl seriously injured in Saturday's coach crash in France.>The JustGiving appeal had broken through its £500 target with the amount raised reaching more than £3,000.

The online appeal asks people to support Sophie's parents after they travelled to France to be with their daughter who suffered life-threatening injuries.>The organiser is keen to help keep the 15-year-old's parents at her bedside as she recovers.

So far over 221 people have donated to Sophie's family with messages of support also being written on the page. >Another student, a 15-year-old boy, also remains in hospital after suffering serious injuries.
