'It's just horrendous': Headteacher of Bournside School speaks after coach crash
The acting Headteacher of a school in Gloucestershire whose students were involved in a coach crash in France has told ITV News that as a parent the crash is the worst news he can imagine.
Two students were badly injured in the crash near the Swiss border - one is in a life-threatening condition.
Gareth Burton described the moment he took the call telling him what had happened:
Staff at Bournside School in Cheltenham spent all day contacting the families of the 42 teenagers who were on board the coach.
The parents of the two students who have been seriously injured are now on their way to France and should be with their children in hospital before midnight.
Another 10 people had minor injuries, and the next priority is to get everyone else back to the UK.
