It won't be a rough ride if you're on board for the Bristol Harbour Festival this weekend. The wind is set light and no torrential downpours are expected.

However, that's not to say a drop of rain isn't impossible, but what's a few drops amongst 250,000 people.

Here's a forecast breakdown for each day...

Friday NightA blanket of cloud cover will lie across the city tonight. It'll make for a mild and muggy evening at the Harbour Festival. Odd fleeting shower is possible, although the risk is quite low.

Saturday A mild start to the weekend under grey skies. There's the chance of some patchy drizzle where the cloud is thick enough. During the afternoon it'll become largely dry and a few brighter breaks are possible, especially towards the evening. Temperatures should make 22C.

Sunday It should stay dry throughout Sunday and despite there being quite a lot of cloud cover, it'll be a slightly warmer day and in any sunny spells temperatures could hit 23C.

I've experienced a few very wet festivals, so personally I'd run with that forecast in light of the summer so far!
