Fixers: Transgender teen spreads a message of equality
A teenager from Wadebridge is leading a campaign at his school to encourage more support for people from the LGBTQ community.
Miles Everitt was born female but realised he was transgender when he went to secondary school.
Miles and his friends have started an LGBT support group at Wadebridge School to offer insight into Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, and Transgender issues. It is a success and the team is now planning on taking the message to the wider community.
The 16-year-old has now designed window stickers with the help of Fixers, which helps give young people a voice. He is hoping shops will display them, spreading a positive message of equality.
