School erects plaque in honour of Hot Fuzz director
A secondary school in Somerset has erected a blue plaque to honour one if its former pupils - film director Edgar Wright.
In a tweet, the director thanked the Blue School in Wells for supporting him and posted a picture of the plaque.
The filmmaker is best known for his so-called 'Cornetto trilogy' - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End.
All three were collaborations with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who also starred in the cult hits.
The second film - Hot Fuzz - was set in a fictional Somerset village and was largely filmed on location in Wells.
