A Polish family living in Plymouth have told us they're scared to go out on to the streets after their home was damaged in a racially motivated attack.

Their shed was burnt down and a note threatening further attacks was left at the home of Ewa Banaszak. She believes it might have something to do with the giant Polish flag they had hanging outside for the Euros.

Ewa Banaszak says her little brothers and sisters are afraid to go to the park.

The incident has been condemned by the Police and anti-racism groups in the city.

Plymouth councillor Chaz Singh was himself confronted and told 'to go back to his own country' while he was campaigning for Remain in the city centre.
