A care home in Cornwall has announced its closure forcing dozens of residents to move.

Ismeer Care Home, which has 26 beds in Gorran Haven, is closing after its registration with the Care Quality Commission expired.

The regulatory body says its working with the council to ensure the people living at Ismeer are protected and safe:

Cornwall Council says it's been informed of the care home's closing and will ensure that residents are "safe and well cared for".
