Broadchurch stars spotted filming new series

The Broadchurch stars have been spotted out and about as filming gets underway for the third and final series of the hit ITV drama.

David Tennant and Olivia Coleman were seen in Somerset reprising their roles of detectives Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller.

There are new additions to the cast as well, as Lenny Henry and Roy Hudd, step into the series to take up unknown roles.

Sarah Parish, former Coronation Street star Julie Hesmondhalgh, BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell, Charlie Higson and Mark Bazeley have also all signed up for the final series.

Large parts of the first two series have been filmed in North Somerset, as well as Dorset's West Bay playing a prominent role.

No transmission date has been announced yet.
