Devon County Show 2016 gets underway under blue skies and sunshine

The Devon County Show for 2016 is getting underway at Westpoint near Exeter under beautiful blue skies and sunshine.

It's the 21st time the show has taken place celebrating the food, culture and livestock of the county.

ITV West Country will be behind the scenes at the show ground bringing all that's best about Devon.

Here's some of what you have to look forward to:

• Bob Crampton samples sausages and cheese and finds out what it takes to become a judge for prize-winning sausages.

• Kylie Pentelow fires the starting gun on the Shetland Pony Grand National.

• Bob Cruwys enjoys a day of new experiences - learning how to knit, how to drive a tractor and how to shoot straight in archery.
