Carol Vorderman plans 'dream' solo flight around the world for TV show

Bristol's Carol Vorderman will attempt to become the 9th woman in history to complete a solo flight around the world as part of a new television show.>The new programme titled 'Carol's Incredible Solo Flight Around TheWorld', will see her flying her own plane.>The Countdown star obtained her pilot's licence two years ago and will be flying a twin-engine propeller plane nicknamed 'Mildred'.

The TV presenter said had 'given up a lot of TV' to dedicate the last few years to her passion for flying.

The show is coming soon to Channel 5.
