Wife has six days to save her husband's life by raising money for cancer treatment
The wife of a man dying of cancer has just six days to raise £400,000 so he can receive life-saving treatment in America.
33-year-old Kate Brandon is in a desperate race against time to get her husband Mike on to a new clinical trial in the US which could potentially cure him of cancer.
It is the second time Kate has fought to save Mike's life in two years - as she previously successfully searched for a stem cell donor.
The pair, from Westbury-on-Trym, are currently at Bristol Royal Infirmary.

Mike was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2014.
On Mike's 30th birthday he received a transplant and the couple believed he was on the road to recovery.
However, they were given the devastating news that Mike’s leukaemia had returned and was spreading at an aggressive rate the day before Easter Friday. NHS doctors said there is little they can do.
She has released a video appealing for help to fund the treatment in the US.
The couple say they have exhausted all the options available in the UK and are desperate to get on to "revolutionary new treatment that has shown extraordinary rates of success for people in Mike’s position".
They began searching for a trial of the treatment, called CAR T-Cell Therapy and began talking to researchers at the University of Pennsylvania’s Abramson Cancer Centre.
Although the actual treatment is funded by the University, the medical costs associated with its administration must be self-funded.
