Councils in the South West will receive a share of £8.4 million from the government, helping to remove around 159,000 potholes from local roads.

The funding has been made available as part of the £250 million Pothole Action Fund in last month's Budget, which will fix over four million potholes by 2020/21.

So how much will our councils get?

  • Plymouth £112,000

  • Torbay £71,000

  • Cornwall £1,267,000

  • Devon £1,952,000

  • Dorset £817,000

  • Somerset £1,177,000

Local authorities in the South West are getting the most funding at £8.4 million, but campaigners say it's not enough.
