A formal decommissioning ceremony was held today to mark their last goodbye.

771 Squadron serviceman Mark Richardson and his wife Emma paid tribute to the service which has brought them some worries - but also great highs.

The role, which has been performed so admirably by the Royal Navy, has now been taken over by a private civilian operator based at Newquay Airport.
