Stuart Pearce debuts for 'worst team in the country'
Former England international Stuart Pearce made a surprise return to the game for a team in Gloucestershire over the weekend, thirteen years after retiring.
He made his debut for non-league Longford AFC on Saturday, who've been dubbed the worst team in the country after failing to win any of their twenty two games this season.
Before the game, Stuart said he was feeling apprehensive about playing after so much time off:
The 53 year-old's appearance was watched by hundreds of spectators but he was unable to turn his new side's fortunes around as they lost one-nil.
