New course record set at Bath Half Marathon

Kenyan Robert Mbithi has smashed the course record at the Bath Half Marathon to scoop the £1,500 prize.

He won the race in one hour, one minute, and forty five seconds beating the previous best time by a massive sixteen seconds.

Some fifteen thousand runners turned out for the race with thirty thousand spectators filling the city to watch.
