What lengths do you go to for your hobby?

A sculptor from Wiltshire loves the comic character Batman so much that he has turned his spare room into a fully-functional 'Bat Cave'>He spent nearly two years moulding cavelike stalactites onto the ceiling. And he houses his valuable collection of Batman memorabilia there too.

Behind Darren Wilson's bedroom door is a fully armed and operational 'Bat Cave'.

He has all the figures and cars, the signed photos. But the cave's highlight is the ceiling - perfect for any bat.

It took 18 months to make.

It is a long way from Gotham City to suburban Calne.

But there is always the spectre of a shadowy superhero on the walls of this Wiltshire home here.
