Olympic rowing champ Heather Stanning joins Bath Uni Hall of Fame

Heather Stanning returns to the University where her illustrious rowing career began in 2006 to join the Hall of Fame for Sport.

She started rowing under the GB B Rowing Team Start Programme - it's where she first rowed with Helen Glover in the women’s pair.

The duo have gone on to become World, World Cup, European and Olympic champions. Famously winning Gold at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Stanning and Glover are currently preparing to defend their title at Rio 2016, with the GB Rowing Team Olympic Trials taking place later this month.
