Meet the cancer patient taking on the Plymouth half marathon for breast cancer charity
She raised thousands of pounds for a breast cancer charity since having a double mastectomy, and now Laura Plane from Plymouth is back on the running track.
She's training to run the Plymouth half marathon on April 17, running for Coppafeel. So far, Laura and her friends have already raised £80,000.
She's had a difficult few years but running has kept her feeling like herself. She ran through her first cancer diagnosis.
She had to miss the Plymouth half marathon last year after another devastating cancer diagnosis - which had spread to her spine and liver.
Laura won the ITV Pride of Britain Award two years ago for her efforts in getting other young women to check their breasts regularly.
She's still out regularly spreading the message at schools and colleges.
Laura wants as many people as possible to run with her this year to raise awareness about the charity - last year 120 people ran with the Coppafeel team.
