Hundreds of construction workers needed for new town

Hundreds of workers are being sought to create a new town near Plymouth. A total of 280 people are needed as part of a consortium building scheme part of the town's reconstruction.

The consortium it says it will need hundreds of construction staff - mainly apprentices - over the next ten years. The staff will be used to build over 5000 homes in Sherford.

The Government has invested £32 million in funding for the town in Plymouth and South Hams.
